Book Review - The Database by TL Travis

Emily Morgan is hard up for some lustful action. Her friend Sabrina gives her a card with information for membership to a website, Internal Salvation, promising one-night-stands from their database to choose from, including information on each man. Sabrina promises it to be “an orgasmic opportunity.” Emily figured she had nothing to lose, and signed up for more information.

After granted membership, she perused the site, finding a bevy of hot men to choose from, and a list of comments from previous women about each man’s prowess.

What Emily finds brings out her inner domina, and leaves her wanting even more.
While evaluating more through the site, she seeks out another man, Hunter Scott, who seems more elusive than the rest. Unbeknownst to her, Hunter has his own agenda. Once they find each other, could Emily’s search for happiness finally be over, or will her membership in Internal Salvation doom them from the start?

I liked this story, though I wish it was longer. The sex scenes are hot, hot, hot! I like how Emily came from a shy skeptic, to a strong, in-charge woman.

My complaints about this book are that I feel the ending was a bit rushed, and I wish the build-up between Emily and Hunter had been more expanded upon. Other than that, I found The Database by T.L. Travis to be a quick, steamy read. Definitely have a partner, or a toy handy after you finish this book.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
